Our Philosophy
At New Summits ABA, we believe in using a child-driven approach to therapy and we view each individual child through their own unique lens. Seeking to help create an inclusive and collaborative environment, we want every family, interdisciplinary team, and client to feel valued and heard. Our approach to ABA involves the following components that are imperative to our values as a company:
Compassionate
We believe that every individual we work with and encounter deserves the highest level of compassion in all that we do.
Collaborative
We value collaboration and want each child, family, and team to have a voice in their own therapy or services.
Neuro-Affirming
We believe that all individuals who are neurotypical or neurodivergent should
be affirmed in their differences. We believe that neurodivergence is a result of
brains that are built differently, not wrong, and we seek to treat individuals
and celebrate their strengths and be neuro-affirming in all that we do.
Evidence-Based
We utilize and stay up to date on the most progressive teaching strategies and techniques, as well as participate in consistent professional development to further our knowledge in the field of ABA.
Fun!
We believe in fun! When working with any child, we believe the heart of everything we do should be focused on engaging them in their world! If your child is playing and enjoying themselves during therapy, we are doing our job!
